recount about my holiday jasonta

Wednesday 19th October 2016


Last Monday 26th September I went to  Mc  Donalds for breakfast and I had pancakes, I used fork, knife, butter, chocolate sauce for pancakes and I finished eating pancakes. I went to the Zoo it was far away and My Sister, Aunty and me. I were looking around at animals Zoo for long time. I went to playground at Zoo Egg Slides and giant dragon at playground and I feeling I had a great day. At picnic I ate Bread roll, chickens, lettuce, I make my own sandwich. I fed to goose bread. In the Zoo I saw Turtle, Lion, Cheetah, Tiger, Monkey, Spider, Giraffe, Red panda, Ostrich, Hippo, Elephant, Gorilla, Rhino, Kiwi, Seal, Zebra, Bat, Capybara, Lizard, Spider monkey, Penguin, Crocodile. THE CRATER MEANS A HOLES FORMED BY VOLCANO ERUPTS. 


THEY CAN SEE STEAMING, CRATERS, KANUKA PLANTS, INSECTS, HOT MUD POOLS. 


CRATERS SMELLY LIKE ROTTEN EGGS. STEAM COMES FROM SULPHUR GAS, COMES FROM UNDER THE GROUND.

On yesterday I had finished this my practice presentation more time practice now I finished present I will stand up and show other kids in my present and  I break 2 I played to boys it is fun day.

This morning I finished present yesterday but I using new present today I ask mrs taylor can I help me new present I use a wedding cake start new title name my present mrs taylor helpful me how find google use answer

This afternoon I focus make teacher help me how easy play at P.E day that was good learned easy make me can my part P.E.

Last easter I had fun longs weekend but on night time last Monday my cousin give me a easter is was so sweet and it yummy my easter was very yum bigs easter is yum yum yum!

On yesterday Thursday 17th March 2016

We went to along at Trust stadium Joy Sports Day and we wait for bus I saw at mission Heights Junior College to Jordan,Kaylee,Charlie and Mrs Naidoo they going sports day and can't went outside because it was raining outside we come inside to trust stadium they had new different sport active was enjoy or fun or Oresome sports things active time I was fun learned at the soccer I laugh to Evan was so silly make Runner soccer play fun.
I had long practice for sport day how do it I love what? soccer and they people want share lunching at ibreak then back inside sports at soccer play kid everyone back came here we sit and wait for at dancing songs and stand up now then dancing is time was finished sports day OPS going back sit down in to bus and mission heights Junior colleges sit first on the bus they was noisy and talking much other to kid but I quiet to bus and watching outside on the window
I waiting for come longs back drive at bus me see at sky City and road bridge now they  first going to back my OSJ school and now we back at my school and mission height junior college school back and they ormiston primary school it is time they was late back go home and we hurry want went to home time that it enjoying and I saw my teacher was ms maloni it is just pretty like bunny hair band and look pretty purple dress up and but we does see not here to my Mrs Patrick she was working and at busy they Mrs Patrick is gone and I love it to sports day it enjoyed come along fun and laugh that is cool sports really practice and working or learning at soccer play kid I was kind to kind school.The end phew! it fun sport day

Learning Observed
In shared reading, Madagascar Deaf learners have learned not only to read the text but also to translate into NZSL.  It is important for Jasonta to understand the story well as she is unable to translate into NZSL if she does not know the story well.
Jasonta was curious to learn unknown words and examine them in the English dictionary and NZSL dictionary.  If she was not sure the meanings in the dictionary, she asked her learning coach and/or the NZSL interpreter what it means.
Jasonta prefered to work independently however she worked collaboratively with her buddy when she needed and was capable to share her understandings with him.  She was learning to use correct NZSL grammar while retelling the story.  When discussing about the ending of the story, she connected her own experience and shared her ideas about how we can stop teasing in the classroom.

Over the last few weeks, learners form Habitat 3 have been encouraged to work collaboratively  to organise a Hui for both Habitat 1 and 3 to attend on Friday afternoon.  This has been an opportunity for learners to connect with one another and discuss and organise different ideas that they may have for this time.  This week Ved, Prisha, Shivran, Ayush, Alex, Jasonta, Mervlyn, Neha and Brooklyn, showed their capability by organising a slideshow, waiata, talent show, weather report  and certificate presentation.  Prisha and Shivran organised the slideshow that supported our two presenters, Ved and Ayush.   Alex and Jasonta signed a detailed weather report.   While, Brooklyn, Neha and Mervlyn presented certificates to those learners that were connected through play earlier in the week.
